Senior Shows for Taylor Sheppard and Raymond Williams
This semester we celebrated many firsts including the first solo exhibit by a freshman (Morgan Faucett), the first exhibit by a minor (Taylor Sheppard), and the first exhibit by a legally blind student (Raymond Williams).
Taylor Sheppard hosted her Senior Show entitled Melanin April 3-April 20 in the Granberry Gallery with a reception and artist talk April 20 from 6-7pm. Taylor is an Art minor earning her degree in History. Taylor's show featured live models and a museum-style exhibition of photos fusing both disciplines. Images from her show can be seen on our Facebook page as well as Limestone College's official Facebook page.
Raymond Williams hosted his Senior Show entitled Journey April 23-May 12 in the Granberry Gallery with a reception and artist talk April 26, 2018 from 6-7pm. Raymond's paintings represented family and friends that have supported him throughout his life as well as the health struggles that eventually lead to his loss of vision as a child. Only able to see 20% out of one eye, Raymond's paintings focus on color and simple shape.
