Creative Writing at Limestone
While studying with faculty members who are published authors and continue to actively publish new works, Creative Writing students develop their talents in writing fiction, poetry, screenwriting, playwriting and nonfiction. Many courses have a small class size, which means that faculty members can spend a significant amount of time with individual students to help them develop their writing skills. In addition, the English department has done a remarkable job in sending students to graduate schools and helping them to obtain employment. Internships opportunities are available for writing in the professional world, and there are creative and editorial opportunities in The Candelabra, Limestone’s literary magazine.
